Both considered hospice birds because their livers were damaged from antibiotics when they were babies. Rickie was a wild severe baby found in a field..not going well. Test after test really told us nothing. The doctor tried different antibiotics with the hope that something would work. He finally did get better but the meds had already done their damage.

Fred.for no reason while still a very young baby chewed off a few of his toes. So, he too was put on antibiotics for quite awhile.

They are about the same age and bonded almost immediately so they share the same cage in order to give them happiness to the end.

At this time they are aprox. 2 years old.
